Welcome to an Incredible 2018 - 2019 marching band season!
I’m looking forward to meeting all marching band students and parents/guardians on Wednesday, June 27th at 6PM in the SCH Auditorium for a mandatory information meeting and fundraiser kickoff. We’ll preview the show and outline roles/responsibilities. Please bring a pen or pencil, as I’ll have several documents for you to complete.
As a part of our upcoming fundraiser, the company that we are working with is donating $5 to the SCH Instrumental Music Program for every parent/guardian in attendance! This is an easy opportunity to support our program, just by sharing a few minutes of your time.
As a reminder, here is our schedule for the summer -
Mini Camp will be take place at South Carroll HS on:
June 27 from 6PM – 6:30PM for all marching band students and parents (mandatory informational meeting and fundraiser kickoff in SCH Auditorium)
June 27 from 6:30PM – 8:30PM for all students (following meeting – Band room)
June 28 and 29 from 6PM – 8:30PM for all students (Band room, chorus room, and auxiliary gym)
Full Camp will take place at Mt. Airy MS on:
August 2 and 3 from 9AM – 3PM for percussion, drum major & color guard
August 6 – 10 from 8AM – 4PM for everyone
August 10 – Preview show at 3:30PM for everyone
August 10 – clean-up and load truck at 4PM for everyone
We will also rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6PM – 8:30PM and home football game days from 3 – 4:30PM starting on August 20th. This schedule will last until the final home football game.
