Banquet and Spring Concert

I can't believe that the school year is almost over! It seems like only yesterday that I was getting to know the freshmen; now they seem like good friends and the departing seniors feel like close family.

Please read the following spring banquet/concert information closely - On May 15 at 5PM, all SCH Band and Orchestra students and family members are invited to attend an end-of-year banquet to recognize everyone's contributions to the success of our instrumental music program. Seniors will be recognized and there will be awards for students in every performing ensemble.

The banquet will be potluck-style, so we ask that everyone bring a dish to share. On May 15 at 7PM, (following the banquet), the Band, Orchestra, and Full Orchestra will present a public concert. Students should be ready to warm-up in concert attire no later than 6:30PM. The concert should last roughly 75 minutes and seniors will be recognized for their service. I assure you that you'll hear some incredible music!

Every performer is critical to our success. This is a graded performance for members of curricular ensembles. If you’re unable to attend the concert for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible in writing. If transportation is a problem, please let me know and I will attempt to facilitate alternate arrangements.
