SCH Area Music Trip to Hersheypark

The South Carroll High School Instrumental Music Boosters is sponsoring an optional trip to Hersheypark on Saturday, May 18th as a reward for those students who have given so much of their time to the performing arts program at South Carroll High School.  There are 40 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The total cost of the trip will be $80.00 for transportation and park admission.  All orders must be received by midnight on April 26th, 2024.

Students/Minors – Obtain a hard copy of the permission slip from your music teacher.  Please have a caregiver sign the permission slip and return it to your teacher no later than the end of the school day on May 1st, 2024.  We reserve the right to cancel your trip if your permission slip hasn't been submitted by this deadline.

Adults / Chaperones – Although this trip is not associated with Carroll County Public Schools, all adults / chaperones must complete the CCPS Volunteer Training and agree to abide by the contents of the CCPS Volunteer Handbook.  Please register here: https://www.carrollk12.org/operation/human-resources/volunteer-program

Participants should bring extra money for lunch, dinner, and anything else they may want to purchase during the day.

Participants should arrive at the school no later than 7:50 am.  The bus will leave South Carroll High School promptly at 8:00 am and return around 6:45 pm.

Participants must have everything they will need for the day when they get on the bus. This includes:

• Appropriate attire for the park.  (Remember, you still represent your school!)
• Jacket or appropriate weather attire. Don’t forget sunblock.
• Towels/Extra t-shirt/sweatshirt/socks for ride home; if you plan to ride the water rides.
• Activities for the bus (iPhone, games, books etc.) Participants are responsible for their personal property.
