Spring Concert

I can't believe that the school year is almost over! It seems like only yesterday that I was getting to know the freshmen; now they seem like good friends and the departing seniors feel like close family.

Please read the following spring banquet/concert information closely - On Thursday, May 16 at 5 p.m., all SCH Band and Orchestra students and family members are invited to attend an end-of-year banquet to recognize everyone's contributions to the success of our instrumental music program. Seniors will be recognized and there will be awards for students in every performing ensemble.

We are asking attendees to bring a food item for the banquet. Please let us know what you'll be bringing via this Sign-Up Genius Link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0B48A5AE23A0FC1-49571368-schs At 6:30 p.m. the Honors Wind Ensemble, Orchestra I, and Honors Orchestra students will present a concert of music in the South Carroll High School auditorium. Students should be ready to warm-up in concert attire no later than 6 p.m. The concert should last roughly 75 minutes and seniors will be recognized for their service.

Every performer is critical to our success. This is a graded performance for members of curricular ensembles. If you’re unable to attend the concert for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible in writing. If transportation is a problem, please let me know and I will attempt to facilitate alternate arrangements.
