You are cordially invited to attend the South Carroll High School Winter Instrumental Music Concert. This event showcases the musical progress the CavMusic instrumentalists have made since their last concert at the end of October. I believe you will be amazed by their dedication and talent! They have worked diligently, both in school and at home, to ensure this performance is a resounding success.
Concert Details
The Winter Instrumental Music Concert will take place on Tuesday, December 9 at 6:30 PM in the South Carroll Auditorium. You can view the full CavMusic calendar and add it to your device at: CavMusic Calendar.
Students should arrive in concert attire no later than 5:45 PM. Warm-up will begin promptly at 6 PM. The performance attire policy will be enforced for all South Carroll High School instrumental music events. Students who are not dressed appropriately in 'Concert Black' will not be permitted to perform. Doors will remain unlocked for audience members until 6:45 p.m.
Importance of Attendance
Please be considerate of all the young performers who have worked hard to prepare their music. I encourage everyone to stay for the entire concert, which should last no more than 90 minutes. Supporting the members of other performance groups is vital. Concert attendance is not just a formality; it is an educational experience for the student musicians. Your support in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Every student plays a crucial role in our success. If you have questions about concert participation or conflicts, please refer to: Performance Attendance.
Communication is Key
If your child is unable to attend the concert, please let me know in writing as soon as possible. If transportation is an issue, please inform me, and I will attempt to facilitate alternate arrangements. Open communication helps us ensure that every student can participate fully in their musical journey.
A Shared Musical Journey
Music education is a collaborative effort. It fosters not only musical skills but also essential life skills such as discipline and teamwork. I encourage you to engage with your child about their experiences in the program. Discussing their progress can enhance their learning and appreciation for music.
As always, thank you for your continued support of your child's music education. We are confident you will enjoy the performance. We look forward to seeing you there. Consider inviting some friends to share in this wonderful experience!
